Description: We recently purchased a gallery collection of art of 20 works by Modern artist Nadia W. Irish. Irish was active from the 1970s through the 1990s. Not much is known about her career but it is evident through her work that she was an advanced abstract printmaker with exceptional technical skill. This week we will be listing 8 original monotype prints from the artist as well as one original pastel drawing! This monotype relief print is untitled and depicts a brilliant abstract composition of textured shapes and colors. Signed in pencil at the base. circa late 1980s/early 90s. In Excellent overall condition. Clean and crisp. Margins show gentle soiling and creasing in areas as well as gentle foxing/toning to the verso. Margins can be trimmed if desired or covered with a mat. Ready for framing. Displays handsomely. Plate block measures 17 3/4” x 13 3/4” and 29 3/4” x 22 1/4” with the margins.
