Description: Vintage Penney's TOWNCRAFT MACKINAW CRUISER Plaid WOOL HUNTING Shirt JACKET LG Towncraft by Penney's - similar to Pendleton and Woolrich, this was made in the USA. No tag but we'd say it is likely all wool or a wool blend. It has lost any "scratchiness" and is quite soft. The latest new thing isn't always better than what came beforehand. these cruiser jackets prove that. Fantastic jackets, made in the U.S.A. by Americans - not somewhere overseas, where so many great old American brands are now made. Features include: tightly-woven wool in a great plaid pattern, two buttoned exterior chest pockets, buttoned sleeve ends, full button up front with "anchor" buttons, original label, etc. Never out of style, It's warm, comfortable, and versatile. All items fit differently so please follow measurements. Size is tagged L - but we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. Shoulders - measured across the back from seam to seam - 19 inches. Sleeve - from collar seam at neck to sleeve end - 29 inches. Sleeve - from shoulder seam to sleeve end - 22.5 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of coat - 29 inches. Bottom edge measured all the way around - 47 inches. Condition is very good inside and out. No holes or tears or significant wear. One sleeve button has a small chip in it but it functions fine and we might have replaced it already.
