Description: Set of 6 vintage Pimpernel cork-backed coasters with a pretty painted snowy winter village scene. They are square and measure about 4 1/4" across. These Christmas/ winter coasters were one of Pimpernel's popular holiday sets and this is an earlier mid-century version with a double-lined red border (the newer ones have a single-line red border.) They are in a box but I'm sorry to say it's not the correct box because it has a different Pimpernel pattern name on the outside! But the coasters themselves still look great and the cork and acrylic tops are still perfectly intact. One of them has a little manufacturing defect in the lower right hand corner which looks like a piece of brown thread stuck under the acrylic (see photo #4). These vintage Pimpernel coasters are fun to collect and make great bar accessories!
