On the front of the icon there is a writing in ancient Russian language “Iverskaya Mother of God”. The icon is made on thick cardboard and reinforced by lacquered paper from both sides. The icon is decorated with gold and silver foil (see details). The icon comes in original Sofrino Monastery package with the Russian language writing on the top “Mother of God save us”.
