Description: Vintage Westgate Polished Jacobean Chintz "Jardin des Fleurs" bedskirt. Sadly, I think that Westgate is no longer in business. They produced high end quality fabrics comparable to Brunschwig & Fils. The company had roots dating to the mid 19thC, and was acquired in 2004, and seems to have disappeared shortly thereafter. The fabric is a sturdy 1987 Screen Print with beautiful flowers in shades of pink with yellow accents and green and yellow leaves on a slightly off white background. This was a custom job for an antique canopy Field Bed, but I believe the dimensions would work for a twin at least or even as a gathered valance for a window, dressing table ~ lots of possibilities. It is a rod pocket gathered design that includes TWO panels each measuring 155.5" in length (4.3 yards). There are two seams on each length, and they did a great job matching the pattern repeat (see photos). The total height is 18.5" ~ 1/2" to pocket; 1" pocket, and 17" to end. It is fully lined and very well made. I could not find any stains or damage, and it has not been cleaned. Please carefully review pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding as I do not offer refunds.
