This is a fine blackened brass compass housed in 1915 dated leather case. The compass to the front and sides in good condition showing some cosmetic markings. The compass is maker marked B-L, Switzerland . No. 28944 to the reverse. and also bears the M.O.D. Broad arrow marking. Transit clasp in working order.The case is maker marked Shaw Motors, Birmingham and dated 1915. In generally good condition with some signs of patina.
