Description: Vitamix 5200 Blender Professional Grade W/ Container - PLEASE READ It runs well, BUT the speed-control knob is not totally effective. The speed is initially “jumpy” when adjusted. It usually “settles down” after a few seconds to the desired speed, but it is not a smooth adjustment. The max speed option and max speed on the dial works fine, but it’s low speed and middle-range speed adjustments are a bit problematic. It most likely needs a new rheostat. Everything else works fine. It’s motor is good andd strong, and there appears to be no other issues. Cord is in excellent condition. Comes with what’s in pictures—including the two booklets. It has had its blade recall serviced performed. Everything is used, but good condition. It may require washing before use. We did wash the canister with soap and hot water, but it’s always good to do it again. We also wiped down the base unit too. Shipping is to the 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii are extra.
