In addition, scantresearch here in this country on these overseas collections turther exacerbates the situation In an attempt to remedy this problem, since 1986, our Sociery has dispatched a team of museum specialists to study the actual state of these displays and co help provide professional advise on the presentation of the artefacts.During 1986 and 1987 Mr. Ye Yong Hae, Commissioner of Cultural Properties, and Mr.Chung Yang Mo, Chief Curator of the National Museum of Korea and Professor Kim Kwang On, Director of the University Museum at Inha University visited a cotal of 21 museums in the United States. Due to the kind cooperation of the museums involved with this program, their survey of Korean cultural properties housed in those U.S. museums has already been completed.
