Description: This West Bend Vintage Bean Pot is a two-piece set that includes a lid. It is made of clay and has a glazed stoneware surface coating. The pot has a capacity of 2 quarts and is round in shape with a diameter of 7 inches and a height of 5 inches from bottom to top edge of pot, not including lid. The pot has double handles and is easy to clean. It is an original piece from the 1950s and is classified as collectible kitchenware. The brown color and flat-bottomed design make it a classic. PLEASE READ and SEE PICTURES as part of description. There are 2 manufacturer defects in paint finish. One is a tiny bump or raised spot that caused paint the thin when fired. It looks like a a tiny bubble on top of lid. It is not as large as it looks in picture. I zoomed in trying to capture it’s well as possible. The other is on the edge of lid and is where paint was too thin under glaze. Both of these spots are shined and defects are underneath the finish glaze. There is a small chip in underside of lid. It is relatively thin in depth but about 1/4 inch across. It was so thin I didn’t notice when I purchased it, but found when taking pictures. All in all in good shape considering age.
