Description: OFFERED IS: WILD MAN FISCHER - THE CIRCLE b/w MERRY-GO-ROUND on BIZARRE RECORDS THRU REPRISE RECORDS # 0781- a very hard to find Promotional White Label 45 that was issued in the USA in 1968 on Bizarre Records. Produced and conducted by Frank Zappa! There were 2 different promotional 45s made and this offering is the mono version. The other version is the stereo 45 which we are also offering in a separate auction. The Circle is a very cool song because Frank Zappa plays guitar on it! The flip side song is called Merry-Go-Round and the song is completely sung by Larry Fischer (aka Wild Man Fischer) without any instrumentation accompaniment and was the song he performed in 1968 on the NBC Television show Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In! You can still see that performance today on YouTube! Check it out! This 45 is in Near Mint condition. The labels are Near Mint without any writing, stains, tears or other distractions. The record was likely never played! It includes the original Reprise Records factory paper jacket in very good condition. An extremely very hard to find 45 these days! Good Luck!
