Description: The pocket of this glove totally swallows up a baseball and a softball, but the pocket is so large that the baseball rattles around a little bit on the inside when it’s in the closed position ! So the pocket has been perfectly formed for a softball ! I have a Wilson A9884 13.75” Baseball softball first base mitt in Excellent condition ! This glove is for the Right handed thrower as the glove fits on the Left hand ! Don’t miss this one ! I measured the glove myself and it measures a full 13.75 inches ! So it’s a very large mitt ! The glove is broken in into perfect playing condition ! The glove also has an incredible pocket that totally swallows up as softball as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Check out the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove wraps itself around a baseball and the 6th photo shows how the glove looks in the closed position with a regulation size baseball in its pocket and the 7th photo shows how the glove can cradle 2 full sized 12 inch round softballs at one time ! As far as fitting goes , this glove is a comfortable fit on my average adult size hand ! The glove does not have a Velcro wrist strap ! All in all the Laces are very good ! But as you can see on the outer finger area of the mitt it appears as if ( for some reason these laces were not installed at the time of production ! In my opinion those laces are not needed and they do not affect the playability, performance nor the look of the glove ! There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
