Description: A very nice example of aWorld War Two GermanBlitzkrieg-eraWehrmacht-issue Field-greyTall Pattern Canister Missing its shoulder strap, but still in possession ofits main pull-down strap,the internal gas mask lenses lid bears the early war manufacturer's name & dateHALLER1940 The base has the former owner's name painted in white,which is partially legible, but appears to be:Prutzfeldt Measuring some 11" in height, with a good opening & closing action,and a pretty fantastic, all-over, paint finish(with an attractive deep & even veneer of surface rust under the paint), this all makes for a a cracking piece of Blitzkrieg-era Wehrmacht or Waffen-SS infantryman'spersonal kit..!
