Description: This is a WW2 US Army Medical Corps "USMC" Bolo Machete with sheath. I've probably owned a couple dozen of these over the years and this one has by far the nicest condition. Clearly never was used during the War or after. Blade has the factory edge and bright finish. A couple rust stains on the front side otherwise perfect. Stamped: USMC CHATILLON N.Y. Handle is nicely grained hardwood secured by recessed brass rivets and burrs. Original finish on the handle and No wear. The USMC Boyt 43 stamped sheath equals the knife as far as condition. No wear at all. Brass throat, rivets and belt hooks. Original rawhide. It would be hard to find one much better. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
