Description: Original WWII German 84/98 III 98k bayonet F. Herder A Sn 1939 #7707d with matching scabbard. Bayonet and scabbard numbered 7707d on the front and marked "F.HERDER A Sn on the reverse, the spine of the blade is marked 39. The blade has 90% of the blueing and is unsharpened, also with some spring wear. The pommel has most of the blueing with some patina,, the press stud functions fine and the brown bakelite grips are excellent. The crossguard has wear on the finish, and the flashguard has some of its finish and with patina and is dent free. The scabbard has most of the finish remaining below the frog area with patina.. I have taken a pictures of the serial numbers and markings on the bayonet and scabbard. Be sure to look at all of the pictures for a visual description.
