Description: Grouping to a WWII Army Soldier who served in the Pacific during WWII, specifically in the New Guinea area. New Guinea is a the 2nd biggest island on earth and was a massive WWII battleground and also home to many Pacific tribes some of which engaged in cannibalism/head-hunting. Pretty cool. Contains: Soldiers original dog-tags and chains 2 Original aluminum rings - these were likely made from wrecked Japanese aircraft, possibly a Zero. 28 photos of New Guinea and Pacific Islanders. 7 Sergeant Uniform stripes. A pouch An interesting group worthy of more research. I don't collect Army so no idea where to begin with who the soldier was, his unit, or what he participated in. I am listing many items in my collection to narrow the specific focus of my collection. Everything mailed FREE with priority. Please check my other items and always feel free to make an offer!
