His 1940, graduation announcement and program are included. There are 384 pieces of correspondence which includes an enlistment letter from the Navy Department; letters and cards from his family and to his family; a naval uniform tie, a 1942 menu from the U.S. Naval Training station in Farragut, Idaho: an 8 x 10 color pic, and a ruptured duck patch. These are a rare find for collectors of militaria. These items are original and authentic pieces from the United States, perfect for any collection of period items. The conflict the war time items represent is the Second World War (1939-45), and they were manufactured in the United States. These items are a great addition to any militaria collection and is sure to be a conversation starter. All but 10 correspondences are affixed to scrapbook pages plus the home front wedding announcements are affixed to scrapbook pages also.
